Lipa Medix Medical Center (LMMC), in partnership with the Philippine Mental Health Association Batangas Chapter, successfully conducted a mental health talk among Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs)at Lipa City Jail Male Dormitory on October 16, 2026.
Present at the event was Dr. Arlene Briones, psychiatrist, who emphasized the importance of mental health in maintaining overall well-being. She highlighted the need to prioritize mental health, raise awareness, and foster a supportive environment for individuals in need of mental health concerns.
