Pulverizing the other teams, Batch 2 Team Brown embodied resilience as they secured first place in the recently held Lipa Medix Medical Center (LMMC) 2025 Team Building held at Bella Posto Resort last October 17, 2025.

The Team Building brought LMMCโ€™s Employees closer through unity, trust, and camaraderie. The day was filled with thrills and cheers as groups competed neck to neck in winning all the prepared games. The games were separated into two parts: station games and relays.

Team Brown Leader Cyril Angela C. Dela Luna (Clinical Pharmacist) stirred the team forward with unwavering determination in station games.โ€œOur main strategy was teamwork and communication. We made sure everyone knew their strengths and roles so we could move efficiently as one unit.โ€ Dela Luna said.

โ€œPreparation wasnโ€™t just physical; it was about mindset and trust. We reminded ourselves that winning starts with believing in the team,โ€ she added. She also said that winning this Team Building is more than the victory itself, but how their team worked together.ย 

De Luna also emphasized that this Team Building helped her improve her communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills. This Team Building also reminded her that success at work isnโ€™t just about individual performance, but also about how well they collaborate and support each other toward a shared goal. She also learned that success comes from teamwork and trust.

Moreover, De Luna also said that she will apply better communication, teamwork, and adaptability in her daily work. She also realized that when colleagues coordinate and support each other, tasks become lighter and more efficient.

Meanwhile, with creativity and uniqueness, Team Green bagged the Best in Banner Award.

โ€œKumuha kami ng idea sa kung anong available na ibinigay sa amin.โ€ Juanito D. Lalunio Jr. (CSR Clerk), Team Green Leader said.ย

Moreover, Team Pink refused to yield the Best in Chant Award.ย 

โ€œAlong with my co-leader, we made sure na lahat may boses. Nag-brainstorm kami ng trending chant lines and moves. Despite the time pressure na only 20 minutes, sabay pa sa paggawa ng banner, we gave our all. We practiced not just to win but to feel connected as one solid team,โ€ Jezelle Bianca D. Luna (Corporate Secretary), Team Pink Leader, said in preparation for their chant.

โ€œGusto namin na hindi lang siya catchy and fun, pero may identity kami. Something that truly represents who we are as a team. Kaya in-integrate namin ang Lipa Medix mismo sa chant para maramdaman ng lahat na weโ€™re not just a team shouting words, weโ€™re Lipa Medix.โ€ she added.

Luna also said that winning the award symbolized their teamwork, effort, and commitment to their team. They competed in the games with a strong sense of belongingness. She also shared that the Team Building also taught her that success isnโ€™t measured by money or awards, but by the bonding, sportsmanship, and sense of belonging within the team.ย

LMMC Employees are looking forward to more challenging, advanced release of rosters, wider venue, and more engaging games in next yearโ€™s Team Building. Through this initiative, Lipa Medix Medical Center stays on its Core Values โ€” Family Oriented, Integrity, Competence, Compassion, Customer Focused, Innovativeness, and Excellence.ย 

Moreover, this Team Building also helped train the Hospitalโ€™s personnel to be more dedicated, compassionate, motivated, and competent, staying true to the institutionโ€™s Mission: to provide innovative, quality healthcare and wellness services of international standards through its competent and compassionate professionals. By this, Lipa Medix Medical Center continues to aspire to be the leading provider of healthcare and wellness services in Region IV.ย
